Adams Fellow Assists With Makeover

Walsh College student and Novi resident Gary Phillips has been selected as an Adams Entrepreneurial Fellow, made possible by a grant from The Ann and Carman Adams Fund of The Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan. For the Fellowship, Gary will serve as a loaned executive to the companies selected in the makeover. He will have the opportunity to work alongside all of the sponsors as they conduct assessments at each of the companies. Once recommendations are accepted, Gary will act as a change agent to insure implementation.

Gary will work out of the offices of Mastermind Solutions in Lake Orion, one of the makeover sponsors. His mentor is Raymond Campbell, president of Mastermind Solutions and a Walsh alumnus.
The Adams Fellowship includes a full-time paid position as well as college credit. It was designed to develop the entrepreneurial skills of promising business students or alumni by matching them with local entrepreneurs. The Ann and Carman Adams Fund is a permanent endowment fund of The Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan.

Gary is the fifth Walsh College student to receive the Adams Entrepreneurial Fellowship. Past recipients are Arthur Kelly, Alexander Schwallbach, Monica Smith, and Carrie Blamer.
