All three makeover winners are meeting monthly with coaches from TAB - The Alternative Board. Kim Greenspan is coaching Sanit-Air's Tom and Connie Morbach; Ian Charles is coaching Wolverine's Nick Stavropoulos; and Carl Ammacapane is coaching Atlas Wholesale's Mike Kotsis.

If you've never used a coach before, here are a few reasons why you might want to look for one:

  • You’re stuck and need to move from ideas to action in one or more areas of your business.
  • You don’t have a clear vision of what your personal or business future looks like, making it impossible to plan for it.
  • You need someone to hold you accountable, demand results and push you to be your best.
  • You need an objective eye that can see the big picture, an outsider who isn’t blinded by your industry or by too many years in your business.
  • You can see opportunities to grow your business but aren’t sure how best to capitalize on them.
  • You just can’t seem to get out from under a mountain of commitments and work on the things that are strategically important in moving your business to the next level.
Just like a personal trainer, I think I might use a coach to push me. I would probably have a great vision for what I would want the business to be, but easily distracted by the daily work. A coach could help refocus on the long-term vision and not use the day to day as an excuse. Tell us about your business coach!
